TO RAVES

From Slaves. Projecting their freedom upon future generations through movement. Letting go of their individuality in order to connect with the larger group, that in its turn connects towards a higher plane.

To Raves. Where often we get lost in a state that can only be attained by being together and alone at the same time. Dancing our bodies away through the night, the mind gets transported to another dimension, just for a moment.

Transcending culture through movement and sound, towards a state of liberation and bliss.

_From Slaves to Raves

We gathered together in order to share this experience and let go of our individuality, connecting with the larger group, that in its turn connects towards another dimension. Perhaps that other dimension exists on the same plane explored by our ancestors at the time?

Allowing all bodies to communicate with entities both from their past, present, and future. Feeding back on themselves, towards infinity.

Visible repetitions emerging towards transcendance. Drum patterns move from more complex rhythms towards a basic four-on-the-floor structure, BPM increases gradually towards some kind of peak. Originally distinctive sounds get distorted / extended, using algorithmic repetitions, and granular synthesis. Authentic tribal shants get pitched and strechted out to a point of sounding more like instruments than voices.
